BYHS Volleyball team raises awareness and honor those impacted by cancer before playing on Tuesday.
Page Gym was filled with a sea of pink on Tuesday, September 29, when the Bartlett Yancey High School (BYHS) Volleyball team hosted their “Dig Pink” match to raise awareness and honor those impacted by cancer.
Before the match began, BYHS Counselor Emily Pruitt shared key facts about the prevalence of cancer and importance of early detection before BYHS Volleyball players escorted cancer survivors and those walking in memory of those lost to cancer across the court.
