Caswell EMS Offers Training for Volunteer First Responders

The local course offers hand-on training and the opportunity to learn essential emergency response skills.

On Thursday, October 1, 19 total volunteers from Anderson, Cherry Grove, Prospect Hill, and Providence Fire Departments completed a local first responder class led by Captain Brittany Pruitt with Caswell County Emergency Medical Services (EMS).

The course, with is offered to the county's volunteer first responders for free by Caswell EMS's training division, offers hand-on training and the opportunity to learn essential emergency response skills.

The Caswell office, which is located on Rascoe Dameron Road in the Anderson Community, is currently only open one day a week, Wednesdays, 8am-5pm.
