Commissioners Mulling Over Pressing Budget Matters
County will absorb 6% increase in employee health insurance costs but the FY27 budget will be tight as the county "rightsizes" its expenditures to not exceed revenues
The Caswell County Board of Commissioners held a Budget Retreat at Gunn Memorial Public Library on Saturday, March 14. The extended session gave them an opportunity to receive information from staff and Amy Cannon and Johnna Sharpe, consultants through the NC Association of County Commissioners.
It also provided the Commissioners a chance to review priorities and goals collectively identified during last year's budget discussions and via recent survey of the commissioners.
