County Issues Statement on SBI Review of Financial Activities at Senior Center

The Caswell County Board of Commissioners and County Administration would like to provide an update regarding the recent review of financial activities at the Senior Center.
At the request of the Caswell County District Attorney and the Caswell County Sheriff’s Office, the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) conducted a review of financial activities at the Senior Center. The SBI found no evidence of criminal activity.
This review reflects the County’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and responsible stewardship of public funds. The Board of Commissioners and County Administration take all financial matters seriously and have exercised comprehensive due diligence to ensure the integrity of County operations.
We appreciate the community’s patience and understanding as this matter was reviewed. Caswell County remains committed to maintaining strong internal controls and keeping residents informed on issues affecting County government.
