Extension Hosting Food Drive in Honor of Small Farms Week

The Caswell County Cooperative Extension Office launched a non-perishable and canned food drive on February 23.

They will be collecting canned food and other non-perishable foods at their office, located at 126 Court Square in Yanceyville, until March 31.

The food drive is being hosted in honor of Small Farms Week, which will be celebrated March 22-28. The 2026 theme is Deep Roots, Strong Future.

Each year, Small Farms Week highlights the programs and activities conducted by  Cooperative Extension at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University that support limited-resource, small-scale, part-time, and alternative-enterprise farmers.
