Felony Firearm Suspect Arrested
His first appearance in Caswell District Court is scheduled for Wednesday, January 21st, 2026 at 8:55am.
On Wednesday, January 14, 2026 the Caswell County Sheriff’s Office arrested and charged 37-year-old Ruffin Township resident James Kenneth Bell III with the commission of the following FELONIOUS criminal and narcotics offenses; (1) count of POSSESSION OF FIREARM BY FELON, (1) count of POSSESSION OF STOLEN FIREARM and (1) count of POSSESSION WITH INTENT TO MANUFACTURE SELL DELIVER SCHEDULE II CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE. In addition, he was charged with (1) count of MISDEMEANOR POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA.
He was placed in the Caswell County Detention under a $100,000.00 SECURED BOND. His first appearance in Caswell District Court is scheduled for Wednesday, January 21st, 2026 at 8:55am.
