Foundation President Says Economic Transformation is Possible for Caswell County
The region is poised for major economic transformation. Will Caswell County be ready to take advantage of the opportunity?
Clark Casteel, President & CEO of Danville Regional Foundation (DRF) addressed the Caswell County Board of Commissioners on Monday, October 5, encouraging them to take advantage of what he referred to as a “once in a generation opportunity” for economic transformation.
“Caswell County sits geographically between two of the most significant concentrations of new investment in modern history of either state,” Casteel told the Commissioners as he pointed to billions of dollars in economic development commitments being made in southern Virginia and North Carolina’s Piedmont-Triad.
