County resident Jennifer Sparks is not the only one who accused Caswell's Interim Superintendent Lance Stokes of dishonesty at the March 23 Board of Education meeting.

"Were you dishonest?"

The Board's Vice Chair, Joel Lillard repeatedly asked Stokes that question in reference to his March 14 responses to County Commissioners about the Board of Education's knowledge of a $990,000 local match required for a Needs Based Grant awarded to the district for renovations at Oakwood Elementary School.
