Local Falconry Academy Trains and Breeds Winged Hunters
Master Falconer James Neumann and his birds will travel to hunt or provide special programming for schools, camps, or events.
When James Neumann was a little boy, he wanted to be Rambo and have an eagle. He grew up to serve in the United States Army and now spends his days working with raptors.
The birds are much more than a hobby for Neumann, who was been a falconer for 22 years. He owns and operates Wayward Falconry Academy, a falconry school and raptor breeding facility based in southern Caswell County.
