Massive Natural Gas Turbine Slows Traffic on Way to Hyco

It was slow going for some in Caswell County this week as crews transported a large piece of equipment weighing more than 600,000 tons across the county.

Drivers traveling through Caswell this week experienced traffic delays as a convoy of trucks and other vehicles escorted the transport of a new natural gas turbine from Ruffin to Duke Energy's Roxboro Plant at Hyco Lake.
