Madison McGuire, a telecommunicator with Caswell County 9-1-1 was awarded the Positive Influencer of the Year award from North Carolina NENA during the May 4 award ceremony at the North Carolina Public Safety Communications Conference in Wilmington.

North Carolina NENA is the state chapter of the National Emergency Number Association, dedicated to enhancing 9-1-1 services across our state. They claim to "serve as the voice of public safety telecommunications professionals, advocating for innovation, providing training, and supporting those who answer the call—day or night."
