Nonprofit Management Certification Offered Locally

The Dan River Nonprofit Network is accepting applications for this year’s Duke Nonprofit Management Program, with a maximum of 20 participants. This program is ideal for nonprofit professionals, board members, volunteers, faith-based leaders, or individuals transitioning from the private sector.

Eligibility & Commitment

  • Applicants should live in and/or support nonprofit work in The Dan River Nonprofit Network service area which includes Danville City, Pittsylvania County, Caswell County, Martinsville City and Henry County.
  • Must commit to attending all eight (8) sessions.
  • Applications close March 3rd, with notifications of acceptance and invoices will be sent by March 10th.

Course Schedule

All classes will be held on Tuesdays from 9 AM - 4 PM. See specific dates below:

Class locations TBD. Most will be held in-person, but there may be occasional virtual sessions. Classes will be hosted in rotating locations across our service area to increase accessibility and share travel across the region. Specific venues and addresses will be shared with accepted participants in advance of the first session. Light breakfast items, lunch, and snacks provided for in-person sessions.

Cost & Financial Assistance

Apply by March 5th, 2026. Acceptance to the program will be confirmed by March 10th.
