Caswell's Board of Education had plenty of other business to tend to during their Monday, March 23 meeting, despite most of the time being devoted to public comments related to the potential repurposing of Stoney Creek Elementary School, projected reductions to state staffing allotments, the Interim Superintendent's handling of communications related to the $18.8 million Needs Based Grant awarded to Oakwood, and revisiting policy that governs public participation during meetings after community members called out the behavior of school staff in back to back meetings.
