Caswell Board of Education had a full agenda Monday night.
The Caswell County Board of Education met until late in the night on Monday, April 27, mostly in closed session to discuss personnel matters related to the Oakwood relocation, athletic coaching positions, contract renewals and staffing allotments.
The Board had already tackled a full agenda and moved through several key conversations before going into closed session.
The school district currently uses 21 buses to run 22 routes. The average ride time is nearly 109.9 minutes, just ten minutes shy of two hours. The tiered routing system proposed would use 22 buses to run 30 routes, reducing the average ride time to just over an hour, 67.67 minutes.
