Berico Announces Historic Acquisition of Pico Propane of NC
With this expansion, Pico Propane of NC's locations in Yanceyville and Siler City, North Carolina, will transition to operate as Berico of Yanceyville and Berico of Siler City.
Berico, a leading regional propane, fuel and service provider, has officially announced the acquisition of Pico Propane of NC, marking one of the largest acquisitions in Berico’s company history. With this expansion, Pico Propane of NC's locations in Yanceyville and Siler City, North Carolina, will transition to operate as Berico of Yanceyville and Berico of Siler City.
The strategic acquisition adds more than 6,000 new residential and commercial accounts to the Berico customer base. To ensure continuity of service and a seamless transition for the local communities, Berico is retaining Pico Propane of NC's entire staff, bringing their local expertise and industry knowledge directly into the Berico family of employees.

For the immediate future, both locations will focus exclusively on dedicated propane delivery and propane service operations. While Berico may evaluate adding its comprehensive heating, cooling, and plumbing services to these markets down the road, the current operational plan prioritizes a smooth, stable continuation of propane services.
Local operations will continue under the leadership of District Manager Ryan McPherson, ensuring a familiar point of contact for existing clients and partners. Integration of internal systems and staff training is already underway to support seamless billing, payment processing, and account management for the new divisions.
