Caswell Invited to Honor Veterans November 11

Caswell County will come together to honor all who served at Caswell's Annual Veterans Day Ceremony at the Civic Center on Wednesday, November 11. Retired US Navy Captain Phil Sanchez will serve as guest speaker for the event, which starts at 11am.

While in Yanceyville for the event, the community is also encouraged to visit the Veterans Memorial near the Yanceyville Pavilion and explore the names engraved on the memorial brick walkway at Caswell’s Historic Courthouse.

If you visit the Veterans Memorial, take notice of the work being done nearby to prepare for the installation of the replica display of our nation's Charters of Freedom - the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights.

The Veterans Day Ceremony at the Civic Center is sponsored by VFW Post 7316, American Legion Post 89, the Caswell County Board of Education, and the Caswell County Senior Center.
