BYHS Grad and Teaching Fellow Continues to Teach, and Learn
Local educator shares how opportunities provided to her as a student at BYHS ultimately shaped her future.
As students in Caswell County Schools and Piedmont Community College (PCC) headed back to school on Monday, August 17, PCC's Emily Buchanan was headed back to class as well.
Buchanan, a 2005 graduate of Bartlett Yancey High School (BYHS) who currently serves as Provost, Regional Campuses and Strategic Initiatives for PCC, sat down at her computer on Monday to begin a Doctorate program in Educational Leadership and Innovation at Arizona State University.
