Dillard Volleyball Team Wins Back-to-Back Championships
The coach attributed the team's success to the hard work and dedication shown by the team to continuously improve and added that the families of the team members were very committed to the program and supporting the team.
"I'm very proud of them, they're a hard-working group of girls," Coach Angel Outz said of the Dillard Volleyball team after they went undefeated and won the championship two years in a row.
Outz pointed out that the wins had not always come easy for the team, noting that that when 8th graders on the team first started playing in 6th grade, they were strong players but did not win a single game that first season.
That perseverance and desire to constantly improve is one of many things Outz said students learn through athletics.
