Homeschool Athletes Invited to Try Out for BYHS Sports Teams
All athletes must have an updated Sports Physical on file at the school to participate.
Did you know that homeschooled students who lived in Caswell County may be eligible to participate in athletics at Bartlett Yancey Senior High School?
To do so, families must submit written notice of intent to try out to the principal at least 10 days before the first official practice for each sport season.
Families must also submit:
- A current homeschool registration card from the NC Division of Non-Public Education
- A transcript showing the student is performing at grade level
- An attendance record
- A current immunization record meeting NC Public School requirements
All athletes must have an updated Sports Physical on file at the school to participate.
