Housing Oakwood and South Together Triggers Concerns
Board of Education expresses concern about traffic, logistics, and the possibility of jeopardizing funding with the current plan.
The Board of Education plans to temporarily close Oakwood Elementary School for renovations, sending those students to South Elementary this fall for the school year. Concerns over traffic, funding, and keeping Oakwood's Exceptional Children's (EC) classes with their elementary school-aged peers were discussed at the June 1 meeting of the Caswell County Board of Education.
