Many Ways to Participate in 2026 Bright Leaf Hoedown

The Bright Leaf Hoedown, hosted by the Caswell County Chamber of Commerce is scheduled for Saturday, September 19, 9am - 7pm and offers plenty for visitors to enjoy and many ways to participate, especially if you plan ahead.

Caswell's annual fall harvest festival embraces the community's agricultural heritage and includes a Classic Car Show, Live Music, Artisan and Crafter Booths, Informational & Educational Booths, Agricultural Exhibits and Activities, great local food, and features Kids Kountry with games, crafts, activities, and music just for kids. Cool Beans Youth Leaders Annual Pop-Up Shop

The Watermelon Seed Spitting Contest might bring back memories of the old tobacco spitting contests when it is held on September 19 11:30am - 1pm on the corner of West Main Street. Registration will be onsite day of.

Classic Car Cruise-In

Got a cool ride? Bring it on out and show off all the hard work, passion, and pride you’ve poured into it! Whether it’s a classic beauty, a muscle car, a truck, or something truly one-of-a-kind, we want to see it at the Hoedown, 9am-5pm.


Vendor Registration Still Open

It is too late to take advantage of Early Bird registration rates, but there is still time for vendors to REGISTER ONLINE. Contact the Chamber at 336-694-6106 for questions or if you need assistance registering.


Global Grooves at the Hoedown

Caswell Arts is partnering with the Caswell County Chamber of Commerce to bring a diverse, high-energy lineup to the Square as part of our Global Grooves program thanks to grant funding from the Community Foundation of the Dan River Region. The full band lineup will be announced soon.
