Milton and Yanceyville Ask County Commissioners for Help Improving Water Infrastructure

Yanceyville project requires County approval and Milton requests assistance covering grant fees.

The Caswell County Commissioners are currently considering requests from Caswell's two incorporated towns related to improving water infrastructure.

Yanceyville Mayor Alvin Foster appeared before the Commissioners on Monday, September 22 seeking permission to install a turbidity curtain in S.R. Farmer Lake. The lake is owned, and managed, by the County but serves as the water source for Yanceyville's municipal water system.

Section 8 Office Could Move to Make Room for Public Defender

The plan has not yet been finalized, but if everything works out with a few recommended moves, the brick house located at 251 W Church Street in Yanceyville could house District 22's new Public Defender's Office.
