Milton Receives Recognition and Tackles Parking Concerns

The Milton Board of Commissioners wrestled with a full agenda on Tuesday, choosing to delay some decisions until they receive more information and have more discussion.

Richard Marvin with the North Carolina League of Municipalities (NCLM) was in attendance Tuesday night at the September 8 meeting of the Milton Board of Commissioners to present a plaque and certificates of completion to Milton Finance Officer Elizabeth Lattime, Mayor Angela Upchurch, and Mayor Pro-Tem Robert Palmer for completing NCLM’s Accounting Instruction and Mentorship (AIM) program.
