How to Apply
Editor's Note: For me, Caswell News & Notes is a calling - work I choose to do because I love it, and my community. But it is also a business that must be grown and sustained in the years to come. Hiring a strong Sales and Sponsorship Manager is critical to our long-term success. I understand that not everyone will view that role as a calling, but the ideal candidate will share my love for Caswell County and the people who live here. They will be motivated, not just by the commission, but by the desire to successfully promote area businesses and organizations and ensure the long-term sustainability of a reliable local news source for our community. I also understand that not everyone has a degree in marketing or extensive professional sales experience and that is ok, but if you are timid meeting new people, dislike face-to-face interactions, or have always hated soliciting door prizes or selling raffle tickets and chocolate bars for fundraisers, this position is likely not for you.
To apply, please submit a letter of interest that details why you are a good fit. Please be sure to note any applicable experience, availability restrictions, or potential conflicts of interest. Letters of interest may be submitted directly to Shannon Moretz at Shannon@Caswell.News and will be accepted until the position is filled. Please use "Sales and Sponsorship Manager" in the subject line of your email.
