PCC Offers Free Summer Camps

Piedmont Community College's summer camps offer middle and high school students a chance to explore programs of study and career options

Piedmont Community College (PCC) is offering middle and high school students the opportunity to participate in free, hands-on summer activities to help them learn about various programs of study and career options.

Those participating will discover the world of welding, health sciences, animation, agribusiness, mechatronics and more, through interactive experiences!

Space is limited so students should apply as soon as possible.

Board Rejects Proposal to Reduce School Bus Ride Times Over Scheduling Concerns

The school district currently uses 21 buses to run 22 routes. The average ride time is nearly 109.9 minutes, just ten minutes shy of two hours. The tiered routing system proposed would use 22 buses to run 30 routes, reducing the average ride time to just over an hour, 67.67 minutes.
