How do you temporarily house two separate elementary schools in a single building?
That is the challenge that has been facing Caswell County Schools staff and Board of Education since the decision was made to temporarily consolidate Oakwood and South Elementary Schools at South for the 2026-2027 school year since Oakwood will be undergoing renovation. After touring South Elementary during a June 25 work session to consider an initial plan, they have reached a decision about room assignments and traffic management.
