On July 13 the Board of Education reviewed school handbooks, approved tighter restrictions on cell phones at the high school, and discussed the sale of surplus items.

On Monday, July 13, the Caswell County Board of Education approved student handbooks for the upcoming school year and Board Member Vennie Beggarly had clearly done her homework. 

As discussions began, staff and other board members quickly recognized that Beggarly had thoroughly reviewed the handbooks, making note of inconsistencies, statements that could use more clarity, and topics she thought the Board should consider more in depth.
