Stokes Named Superintendent

The 1995 BYHS graduate is the 7th Superintendent named by Caswell County Schools in the 13 years since Dr. Douglas Barker retired in 2013.

After months of contract negotiations, the Caswell County Board of Education voted 4-3 on Monday, June 8 to name Lance Stokes Superintendent of Caswell County Schools, effective July 1.

"I’m humbled and honored to be given such a wonderful opportunity to come home and lead the education system that inspired me to be an educator," Stokes said. "I’m immensely thankful for the Board of Education and the Caswell community for their support."
