Superintendent Points to Trend of Improvement and Strong Gains as Cause for Celebration
All but one of Caswell County's schools is up significantly from 2021-2022 and the graduation rate is higher than the state, and neighboring districts.
Caswell County Schools Superintendent Lance Stokes dove deeper into the preliminary state report card accountability snapshot data at the Monday, September 14 meeting of the Caswell County Board of Education.
The week before, Stokes had celebrated the district’s academic growth and expressed his “sincere appreciation to our students for their determination, our teachers and staff for their dedication, our families for their continued support, our Board of Education for its leadership, and our community partners for investing in the success of our schools.”
“As a district, our Caswell County School students have shown improvement of 9.5 percentage points since the 2021-2022 school year,” he told the Board on September 14 during a presentation of the data.
