With the heat index at 113 degrees, I finally understand Cole Porter’s It's Too Darn Hot:

“It's too darn hot / It's too darn hot / I'd like to sup with my baby tonight / But I ain't up to my baby tonight / 'Cause it's too darn hot..

When the thermometer reaches triple digits, common sense says to stay inside, but then there is the electric bill. So, it just makes sense to cook outdoors.
