Training Drill at BYHS Monday
Caswell County Schools and public safety agencies will be participating in a TRAINING DRILL Monday morning.
You may see a lot of activity, including emergency vehicles and public safety personnel at Bartlett Yancey High School on the morning of Monday, September 14 but officials say there is no cause for concern.
Caswell County Schools, Sheriff's Office, E-911, and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) will be participating in an emergency training exercise at Bartlett Yancey High School on Monday, September 14.
Caswell's public safety agencies warn that emergency communications radio traffic during the training might be heard or shared by scanner applications.
"Multiple radio channels will be used, so listeners may hear only portions of the communications without the full context," a statement explained. "Please remember that any related activity or radio traffic is part of the training exercise and does not represent an actual emergency."
Monday is a teacher workday so students will not be on campus.
