Witzgall Named Bartlett Yancey Varsity Boys Basketball Coach
Basketball Conditioning will begin immediately after school, and run until 5pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays
Bartlett Yancey High School (BYHS) released the following statement announcing that science teacher, Ian Witzgall has been named the new Head Varsity Boys Basketball Coach for the Buccaneers.
"Coach Witzgall has spent his entire life involved in the game of basketball, gaining experience and perspective at multiple levels.
As an educator within our school, he also brings a strong understanding of our students, our school community, and the values that make Bartlett Yancey special. Most recently, Coach Witzgall served as the Junior Varsity coach for Bartlett Yancey, helping guide the program through two years of strong growth and development. We are excited to see that momentum continue as he steps into the varsity role.
Coach Witzgall is committed to building on the foundation he has already established, continuing to develop our student athletes, compete at a high level, and represent Bartlett Yancey with pride. Basketball Conditioning Underway
Beginning Wednesday, August 19, Basketball Conditioning will begin immediately after school, and run until 5pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays in the Old Gym.
